Johnathon is the host of a morning show on WBGL, a Christian radio station in Illinois, which is the reason he is near a microphone in the photo. Johnathon never wanted to be a foster parent, but God and his wife Natalie wanted him to be. God told him to do it one morning when he read James 1:27. This verse gets tossed around a lot in adoption and foster care circles, but God really rocked him with it that day. That was in 2010 and since then, many dangers, toils, snares, and plenty of joy have come to them through the blessing of dozens of placements and the adoption of their son and daughter. They have a foster baby right now, as well, who smiles all day long.
