Zawadi Morrow is an adoptee, adoptive father, and former foster parent. Born in the DR Congo and adopted as an infant by European missionaries, he understands identity and belonging firsthand. He and his wife have two children, including a daughter through adoption with special needs.
As Artist in Residence with the Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO), Zawadi leads CAFO SONGS, a collective that uses music and storytelling to give voice to vulnerable children and families. He speaks about adoption with honesty, hope, and compassion.
